Slow Cooker Baked Kassler Rib

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 whole kassler (approx 1-2 pieces kassler rib per person)

  • 1 cup apple juice

  • 1 tbsp German mustard

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • freshly ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Put kassler rib into slow cooker.

  2. Mix apple juice, mustard, and honey. Pour over kassler.

  3. Grind some pepper over top of kassler.

  4. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours.

  5. Remove kassler and serve with mashed potato or boiled baby potatoes, sauerkraut and german mustard.
